About the Owners

We have lived in Cadgwith for several years now. We fell in love with the area many years ago (I have been coming here since I was a small child) so when the chance came to move here with our three children, we simply couldn't resist it.

Why We Made Our Home Here

We have always loved Cornwall and in particular the Lizard. Having visited Cadgwith many times over the years, we never dreamt we would be given the opportunity to live here in such a beautiful and spectacular location. With it's working fishing beach, swimming beach, friendly pub and shops/cafes, Cadgwith offers a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The spectacular coastline offers unique walking opportunities either in the summer or even when winter storms pound the granite and serpentine of the rugged local coastline. Paul regularly contributes on a Tuesday evening in the pub,where he is well known for playing his guitar, bouzouki and even his double bass!

There are a number of benefits in staying in one of our holiday lets. Poppy and Willow are built and equipped to a high modern standard but retain a relaxed cottage style charm while the two carriages offer unique, quirky and affordable character accomodation.

You can choose to relax in the quiet surroundings offered by the large grounds and stream or you can take advantage of the proximity to the Coastal Path and the Cove itself. The Cadgwith Cove Inn and Cellars Restaurant are within walking distance and both offer evening meals. Locally caught fresh fish can be bought daily in the Cove. Live music is also available in the pub with Folk Night on a Tuesday Night and local singers on a Friday night.
